 2nd son of Shiva and Parvati, one with the elephant head & round bulging stomach, the God to worship before any other deity…he is the God of protection & remover of obstacles (worshipped in India esp. before marriage, childbirth, buying a house, or even starting a journey. He’s also the God of progress and enlightenment, he’s very wise! |

Lakshmi: “Om Sri Maha Lakshmyai Namah” Goddess of good health & prosperity, also Goddess of light, beauty, good fortune, charm, generosity, and riches personified/wealth, being the consort of Vishnu/preserver of the universe—she is his power of action, she also signifies love and grace. No one can be rich or powerful without her benevolence, not even Narain. Therefore she is most sought over Goddess of the Hindu pantheon. While Lakshmi is generally worshipped to achieve success, she does not reside long with anyone who is lazy, or desires only her wealth.
